about
21 dreams
21 Dreams is a community-rooted nonprofit dedicated to advancing the cultural and creative arts in Montgomery, Alabama. Founded in 2016, the organization emerged from a vision to retain, support, and amplify local artists in a city rich with cultural history yet lacking creative infrastructure.

our founding story
What began as a grassroots movement has evolved into a thriving arts collective made up primarily of visual and digital artists. From exhibitions, performances, and public art initiatives- our work brings creative expression into everyday spaces, empowering artists, engaging communities, and amplifying underrepresented voices. We center our mission around equity, accessibility, and representation—ensuring that art is not only seen, but felt.
